Fraser Valley Wine Tour FAQ - General FAQ Here

What venues do you visit?

We book Backyard, Township 7 and Cavallo and Glasshouse reservations daily. Some days are booked out for private parties, we then work with Mount Lehman or Festina Lente.

Can we do a private sit-down lunch?

For private groups, if you ask at the time of booking we can book a private table Glasshouse. Cost of the meal is at your own cost and it adds about an hour to the tour. Guest forgo the included lunch option at Backyard for extra time for the full lunch.

How does the deposit work?

Book for how many you know are coming, not how many you hope are coming. All our buses are 14, 20, 35 passengers so book for 10 to make a private party and you can add up-to 4 extra guests to fill the bus up-to the last week before your tour. For a 20 passenger bus a minimum amount of guests is 15 paid. Deposits are 25% with the remainder auto-charged to the CC on file the week before. Sorry we do not do refunds for no shows and we need 8-10 guests for private tours. Good practice to have the group pay the organizer before the time of the deposit (That way if they drop out, you are not out of pocket).  Deposits are 25% (Non-refundable)

How do we make this extra special?

Have you thought about adding or choosing Roots & Wings Distillery or Trading Post Brewery as a swap our for a winery?

Can you pick us up and drop us off?

Of-course, each private tour of 10+ includes one private pickup and drop off in Vancouver, Richmond, Burnaby/New West, Surrey, Langley, Tri-cities, . We plan to arrive at the winery by 11am when they open!

Can we drink on the bus?

Please write a letter to your local MLA as we would love if this was legal in BC. A tour company was caught with people drinking on their bus and received a $26,000 fine to ensure Tour Operators communicated drinking on a bus in BC is now Illegal.

What if we have less than 10 people, can we still be private?

We require a minimum of 8+ people for a private tour during the weekday to get the above rate, and 10+ people on a weekend.  Alternatively if you have a smaller group, pricing is above for that group size OR you can join one of our public tours!  If you have a small group and would really like to do a private tour, we could give you a package rate.  It will be a different rate then what we offer online (per person).  Would you be interested in this?

How much are taxes and what should I tip?

Taxes/fees are 7.3% and we add a 15% auto-gratuity to all private tours.

Once you are ready to book we require a 25% non-refundable deposit and the remaining amount is automatically taken out 10 days prior to the tour. This secures your booking.
